Superior Lamp President Ken Hennig “Say ‘I Can’ Everyday.”

The story of Mary Lawrence’s comeback dramtizes the value of having a goal to guide our actions- and the value of rededicating ourselves to that goal on a daily basis. What did she have to come back from? Almost the end of her life.

When her car was hit by a reckless driver, her injuries looked so catastrophic that the medics thought she was dead and simply carried her to the ambulance. Only a chance pulse check before driving off showed that she was alive. And at the hospital, the doctors expected her to either die or to survive without being able to move or even think normally.

But Mary had decided to survive- somehow- and focused all her energy on it. She faced incredible tests: two major operations on her face without anesthetic and 15 root canals. She also had to deal with not being able to recall even names or simple thoughts.

How didi she respond? First, she adopted the simplest and yet most difficult of mottos: “I can.” Then she set high goals. She astonished everyone by launching into studying for a real estate license. She often had to read material over 50 times in order to comprehend and retain it. Yet her focus on her goal helped her not only pass the test but do so on her first try.

She found work as a real estate agent, but nothing came easily. She failed at two firms- and repsonded by setting her goals even higher: the Million Dollar Club her third employer reserved for its most successful agents. Right away she bought a beautiful evening fown- to wear the night she anticipated being named to the club. She looked at the dress every day as she pursued her goal. By now you won’t be surprised to hear that she won entry to the club and wore her dress righ on schedule.

“Courage” is a motif in Mary’s story, and so is “I can.” But just as important is another simple phrase: “Every day.” That’s how often the courageous say, “I can.”

Superior Lamp President Ken Hennig " Four Things Can Happen On A Walk-In"

1. Get a field appointment and pitch.
2. A demo.
3. Set an appointment for later.
4. Generate a great lead or referral.

Fieldwork is all attitude. When you're building a great business, it's easy to have a great attitude. Fieldwork is one of the most exciting things you can do when you know why you are doing it. Remember the four things that happen during your fieldwork and that everything you do is important. You will then befin to place the tremendous importance on them that you should.
Stop and think about your fieldwork. Are you excited about it? Do you understand you are building a wonderful future for yourself? Are you staying excited? Do you have a great attitude toward it? Your attitude can mean the difference between a missed opportunity and a beautiful sale.

Superior Lamp President Ken Hennig "Superior Products Are World Class."

We search the world over for the manufacturers of the finest quality lighting products. It used to be that one need not look beyond the USA. Anything that was made outside the USA was of inferior quality.
No More! Today some of the highest quality products come from what we consider to be third world countries. How can they have world class manufacturing technology? They don't. But the world class USA, European, and Japanese companies who located their manufacturing plants there do. Due to high labor costs in these companies home countries, they have carefully selected foreign sites for some of their latest and best manufacturing plants.
Today we live in a Global Society. We wear clothing, watch TV's, and work on computers, most of which are made outside the USA. Even so-called American made cars consist of components made all over the world. While some people oppose importing of products, no one opposes exporting of our products. The reality is that in order for them to afford our exports, they must be able to make money by selling something to us in return.
At Superior Lamp we are committed to the best in quality and we search the world over for the very best. Second best doesn't make the grade. Our philosophy of quality first price second has led us to manufacturers across the globe. I for one am proud to say we are meeting that goal.

Superior Lamp President Ken Hennig “Higher Goals= Change”

I hope that everyone has set higher goals for the last half of the year. We all want to grow, earn more and become financially more independent and secure. We all deserve it.

The key to achieving higher, more profitable goals is change…change in our actions. if we don’t change our actions, our results will be exactly the same as last year. Now is the time to identify the changes we must make in our actions now that will produce those higher results in the future.

Review your sales techniques and your work ethic. Identify the things that need the most improvement (change) and create a “change” list. Identify the #1 change you need to make in your sales techniques or work ethic and then work to make it a habit. When that habit is firmly entrenched move to the next item on your “change list” and turn that into a habit. Soon you will have incorporated the changes necessary for you to change your results. Most likely, those results will over shoot the goals you have set.

The fall 2010 should be your best and most profitable. Make certain you match your higher goals to a “change” list that you commmit to. It will guarantee the achievement of your goals. After all, you deserve to achieve more!

Superior Lamp President Ken Hennig “The Mark of a Great Sales Person”

“The mark of a great salesman are the orders he will walk away from!” -Ben Feldman

Ben Feldman is considered one of the greatest salesman who ever lived. Ben died a millionaire, all earned from his sales efforts.

His philosophy that a salesman sets his own price tag is considered on of the most important philosophies in sales. Ben said “when a salesman sells his services cheap, the customer is getting a cheap salesman.”

This “set your own price” tag is a wonderful concept for Superior Lamp salespeople to implement. What sales are you willing to walk away from? Are you willing to stand up for your quality products and your quality service? You should be. Your customers are getting world-class product and service when you sell them.

So, don’t sell yourself too cheap. There are tons of quality buyers out there. Sell and service them. Stay away from the customer who thinks he can get something for nothing.

Remember, the mark of a great salesperson are the orders he’s willing to walk away from!

Superior Lamp President Ken Hennig “Are You A Hard Worker?”

Is your income where you think it should be? If not, then why isn’t it? Are you lazy? But you work most of the time. You’re not sitting in front of the TV all day. You’re busy. So… why isn’t your income higher?

Maybe your income is not a reflection of your work ethic but instead a reflection of WHAT you work on? Maybe you just spend too much time on non-profit activities. Answer the following questions to find out:

1. I’m busy all day long? Yes or No

2. During work hours I frequently do non-profit activities? Yes or No

3. During work hours I frequently gravitate towards work “I like” most rather than work that will make me the most money? Yes or No

If you answered “Yes” to all three of these questions then laziness is not your problem. You’re busy. You work hard. Your problem is PRIORITIZATION. You’re using up your day (and your income) working on activities that have no profit potential. This can all be solved with one simple solution. Throughout the workday ASK YOURSELF: “Is what I’m doing now the most profitable thing I could be doing with my time?”

If your answer is “No” then change your activity immediately so you can get back to making money. Bill Gates is worth in excess of 50,000,000. It’s not because he works that much harder than everyone else. .. It’s because he works smarter. He, obviously did not spend time doing non- profitable activities. By focusing his energy in the most profitable areas he’s become the richest man in the world.

Can we join Bill Gates in the billionaire category? Probably not, but we can use this same technique to give our income a giant boost… without working any harder… just by changing what we work on.

Superior Lamp President Ken Hennig "Leadership and Sharing"

One of the really great aspects of the Superior Lamp Opportunity is that it grows for you when you share it. Every time we help someone else take advantage of this great opportunity it grows for us. Whether we're helping a new Rookie get started or and old Veteran friend, the net result is that both their opportunity and your opportunity grow.

I'm not exactly sure how it happens but it does. Over the years, I've heard countless personal testimonies on how being involved in Superior Lamp's leadership program helped their careers as much as they helped others. Maybe it's the fact that being involved in leadership forces us back to the basics. Maybe it's the fact that we're working and thinking about solutions, not problems, that forces us to have a more positive mental attitude. Maybe it's the synergy that comes from putting two like-minded, energetic people together with a common goal. Or maybe it's our earthly reward for helping out another human being.

Whatever it is, it works. And, for that very reason everyone should be involved in Superior Lamp's leadership program. The company needs your help to continue and expand our collective opportunity. All salespeople alike need to share in your experience and expertise. And, most5 of all, you need the personal satisfaction that comes from helping someone else become more successful.

Share your opportunity through Superior's leadership program and watch every one's opportunity grow as a result. The Superior Lamp Opportunity is one of those rare things that grows larger for you when you share it with others..so share it a lot!!

Superior Lamp, Inc. Is Seriously Committed To Reducing Energy Consumption

Superior Lamp, Inc. Is Seriously Committed To Reducing Energy Consumption

MOUNT LAUREL NJ—April 7, 2011— Each day we are making conscious and unconscious decisions that greatly affect how much energy that we use and, therefore, how much energy is required to be produced. The cost has never been higher.

The effects of our energy consumption are all around us. Just take a look at any headline in the news today. Many are energy-driven. Each time a middle eastern country has a crisis our stock market shudders at the possibility that oil production may drop off by two or three percent. Every time a storm rises in the Gulf of Mexico, or a bill in Congress on deep water drilling comes up, the effects on our commerce or pollution are put into play.
Would we be so involved in two wars in Libya and Afghanistan if not for the protection and acquisition of oil to operate our cars and factories, thus draining our fortune and jeopardizing the lives of our most precious resource…that of our youth? Currently, we are all on the edges of our seats wondering if the tsunami-damaged nuclear reactors in Japan are going to do great damage to so many different systems that affect our health and commerce. The consumption of energy is the reason for this situation.

Superior Lamp, Inc. urges us to ask, what can we, the consumer, do daily to help at least reduce our consumption of all kinds of energy? The answer is hardly simple, but it starts with a commitment to use less energy. That is the only thing that we can control. Sure, we can write letters to our representatives, or take a proactive approach with our children by teaching them the importance of using less energy. What we can also do is be aware of the products that we purchase, the thermostats that we control, and the lights that we leave burning, all of which can have a dramatic collective effect on our total consumption.

Superior Lamp, Inc. has always been a leader in the commitment to offering energy-efficient lighting products. Superior Lamp, Inc. customers have reduced their energy consumption by using its products. Superior Lamp, Inc. asks, isn’t it time for you to make a stronger commitment to energy preservation?

Superior Lamp, Inc. was established in 1977 and strives to lead the way in “green” lighting products by making all of its products Enviro-Safe®. Superior Lamp’s emphasis on quality has made them the #1 supplier of HEAVY DUTY™ industrial lighting in the USA. All Superior Lamp products are designed to be environmentally friendly, last a long time, and save money on electric bills and cut down maintenance costs. All products feature advanced technologies, energy efficiency, and environmentally friendly components.

Superior Lamp President Ken Hennig "The Competition"

Every day you go out to sell you run into "the competition." They're out there.. everywhere light bulbs are used. They're selling products without warranties or warranties that often far exceed the quality of the products they sell! They're selling products frequently cheaper in price and almost always cheaper in quality! They're providing service that doesn't match that which you or our office staff routinely provide. Their products are most often shipped in boxes that match the quality of the products contained.

Every day you go out thinking of the other lighting companies as being "the competition". Stop for a moment and think of what it must be like for them to go out each day and compete against you!

Every day here's what they face"

Superior Lamp's Heavy Duty Products
* Last longer
* Have Longer Warranties
* Brighter
* Better Light
* Use less energy

Superior Lamp's products are packed to arrive in perfect condition!

Superior Lamp salespeople are better trained to take care of their accounts!

Superior Lamp's phone repeat system insures accounts stay with Superior Lamp!

Superior Lamp salespeople earn more because they:

* Service their account better
* Sell better product
* Sell premium quality

Every day that those "other" lighting salespeople go into the field, they face their competition.. and it is us! WE ARE THE COMPETITION! We are the ones who strike fear in the hears of those light bulb peddlers. We are the ones who are working harder, smarter, providing better products and reaping the benefits! We are the ones who are taking over the lighting market in the areas we are in!

We are Superior Lamp..the most formidable of competitors!
