Superior Lamp President Ken Hennig "Burnout Replacement Lamp Business"

Tuesday, April 5, 2011
We are in the "burnout" replacement lamp business. Every time a lamp burns out in the United States we have an opportunity to upgrade them to a brighter, whiter, longer life, more efficient and more environmentally friendly lamp. We concentrate on the replacement lamp business because it is constant and not dependent upon the economic swings and the constructions booms and busts that go with them. The replacement lamp business is constant, year in and year out.

The new construction business is dominated by the "bidding process" which insure that the cheapest, low quality products will always be installed. On top of that, new construction is cyclical as we are using now with the downturn in construction. Those short life distributors, who make their living bidding new construction, are having a difficult time generating sales these days. Meanwhile, the products they installed in previous years are burning out right on schedule, at a constant pace, thus creating our vast and steady replacement market.

There are billions of lamps in the United States and everyday there are millions that burn out needing replacement...with better quality lamps. I view these as "our" sockets that need to be filled with "our" light bulbs. Even if our Superior Heavy Duty Lamps never burned out we would still have an endless opportunity to replace "burnouts" as they are installing millions of new "short life" coolwhites at every construction site across America. This truly is an unlimited opportunity which can only be constrained by limits we set on ourselves.

There is no other business quite like the "burnout" replacement business. The bidding process insure that low quality lamps Will always be installed in new construction. Designers love earth tone colors so warm tone "scotopically deficient" lamps will always be installed. Our business, our future is secure for these reasons. All we need to do is to make sure we take full advantage of this opportunity. Those burned out lamp sockets in your area are ours and you need to fill them with Superior Heavy Duty Lamps...and your checking account with commissions.

Superior Lamp President Ken Hennig "The Power Of Superior Lamp Sales Presentation"

One of our young salespeople recently worked with one of our top sales people in the field. The young salesperson expressed surprise that one of our top sales people actually used the Superior Lamp sales presentation! He thought that in order to be a Top Producer one must use some "special" presentation that is different than that used by new salespeople.

There are actually 3 ways most salespeople approach selling lighting.

1.Those who use Superior's presentation.

2.Those who have created their own (part Superior, part from other reps, part from a customer's past objection, part from an old job, part because they think it sounds good.)

3.Those who wing it. They never give the same presentation twice, they improvise.

There are certainly a lot of ways to sell light bulbs. However, if you want a presentation that will generate $100,000+ earnings it will have to meet the following criteria:

1. It must be SIMPLE. If it's complex it becomes too difficult to remember in front of customers.

2. It must be PROVEN. If it's not used by Top Salespeople... there's probably a reason. It takes years to develop a new powerful presentation.

3. It must provide a TRACK TO RUN ON. Customers frequently get you off track. They shift your focus. They confuse you. With a TRACK you know right where to get back on your presentation.

4. It insures you MAKE YOUR POINTS. Even if you have to answer your customer's questions or add some small talk a good presentation insures that your points are made.

5. It LEADS YOU TO THE CLOSE. A good presentation always points you towards the close and sets your customer up to be closed.

6. It SETS THE CUSTOMER UP FOR REPEAT BUSINESS The demo, the incandescent and fluorescent presentation and the flashlight set the customer up for a future phone repeat sale.

Superior Lamp has the most powerful and the most profitable selling system in the lighting industry. No one has a better documented presentation. No one has made it as easy to learn. No one has the network of trainers and managers who can help you learn and use this system.

The Superior Lamp sales system, when used diligently, will generate hundreds of new accounts and will all but guarantee $100,000+ incomes. All anyone needs to do is learn it and use it! Don't waste your time trying to reinvent the wheel. Don't try to improve on a presentation that was developed by and used by the best. Instead, commit to using the Superior Lamp presentation with as many prospects as possible each and every day.

If a $100,000+ income seems out of reach, I challenge you to learn the Superior Lamp sales system. If a $100,000+ income still seems out of reach, I challenge you to use it diligently, day in and day out. Learn it and use it and you'll join me in singing the praises of this fantastic money making sales system.

Superior Lamp Inc. Discusses the Spirit to Survive in Hard Economic Times

Superior Lamp Inc. Discusses the Spirit to Survive in Hard Economic Times

Despite the adversity America has faced in the past and is facing in the present, with the wisdom of America's forefathers, we have always overcome.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ, January 13, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- America has constantly had obstacles to get over, around or through. It is amazing how the sum of its parts rises to overcome each challenge placed at its doorstep. Undoubtedly, George Washington had many a night where he thought that this new endeavor he and his contemporaries had embarked upon was just not going to work. More than likely, both of the Roosevelts had similar thoughts that kept them awake at night.

Fast forward to today, living in the greatest democracy on the planet, the people of the United States are facing many concerns that in order to overcome require the aggregate of citizens abilities and the spirit that the forefathers possessed to not only survive but to build on our great foundation and move forward. The ever changing world demands it.

Superior Lamp Inc., believes in rising to the challenge, evolving with the times as the world around has its ups and downs, embracing the ride. Over the past several years Superior Lamp has proven that going green and being energy wise, has become a focus for their company. Coming to realize that consumers are penny-wise and eco-friendly in this economy has been the push Superior needed to launch a number of eco-friendly products, fostering their growth.

While there are signs that the country is starting to rise out of the recession, many have yet to feel the relief. Many Americans want to get back on board the "American Dream", yet it is hard to start over and take new direction but starting over has always been hard and the pain in change is always difficult.

Superior Lamp has always held the belief that "when the going gets tough, the tough get going", and encourages Americans to keep on fighting, keep on pushing to stay afloat. Lend a hand to the people around you that are still deep in the struggle to recover and even an encouraging word can make a difference. Thinking back in history a positive attitude during troubling times can make all the difference in the world.

People are watching and waiting for America to reclaim its proud and earned status as the guiding light to success. Superior Lamp has always prided themselves in work ethic and believes that if America reaches higher and works harder, success will follow.

Superior Lamp Product Tip- Avoid "Hot Relamp"

, Superior Lamp Product Tip -AVOID “HOT RELAMP”

When your customers’ Superior Lamps are about to be installed, make sure the power is turned off to the fixture. This is done to avoid a “hot relamp.” Hot relamping tests have been shown to shorten, sometimes severely, the life of the lamp being installed in the socket.

A “hot relamp” is the term for changing a lamp when the power is still on at the socket. A hot relamp jolts the lamp’s filament when the base makes any positive electrical contact with the energized socket. When you screw in a lamp, you are wiggling the bulb around (which can flex the cold filament) and then a large surge of electricity jolts the filament while it is flexed. This moment of stress can reduce lamp life and cause a premature burnout. Cold relamping (relamping with the power off to the socket) is recommended for all types of screw-in and plug-in lamps. This should particularly be the case when changing Halogen lamps, since they use a more inflexible filament.

Hot relamps should also be avoided with fluorescent fixtures, as you can short out and damage the ballast and lamps. In addition, hot relamping places the installer at higher risk for electrocution, which is why hot relamping violates OSHA safety regulations.

To insure Superior Lamp customers get the best life and most satisfaction from our products, remind them not to hot relamp.

Superior Lamp Inc. Sales Motivation #1

FAILURE IS A REQUIRMENT FOR SUCCESS

What do Albert Pujols, Mike Schmidt, Donald Trump and Warren Buffett all have in common? They all fail much more than they succeed. Albert and Mike fail two out of three times they have gone to the plate and one of them is already in the hall of fame as one of the greatest in his profession. The other one will be there. Mr. Trump and Mr. Buffett have made millions and maybe billions but have lost a whole lot of times. This group may be some of the biggest losers of all time.

Another thing that these “successful failures” have in common is the life learned ability to learn from their unsuccessful efforts and make adjustments so they don’t make the same mistake twice. I guarantee you that after an unsuccessful effort on their part they are better prepared next time to charge ahead with every intention of succeeding. They accomplish this with a plan that includes back to basics and preparing by studying the positive material that allowed them to succeed before.

These people will fail again and they are aware of that each and every day. But they also will succeed again because they know that failure is a big part of success. They all go to bat the next time up with the intention of getting on base and then scoring.

Do you fear failure? Or do you know it is required for success? When you don‘t succeed do you look inside and see what you could have done better? Do you go back to basics and adjust? Do you call your in–house manager, your coach to seek advice and direction? Failure is no more than a sign post telling you to adjust your direction and improve your course. Heed the sign, make the corrections and you will get right back in the game. Remember, if your last at bat or “door” was a “no”, go through the next door swinging, you are due for a “yes”.

Good Selling
